Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Arlune website and the pieces you order from us. By placing an order, you're agreeing to them. We've kept them plain.

Who we are

Arlune is a registered business name based in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada, operated as a sole proprietorship. We make handmade pieces for styling the table.

Our pieces

Every Arlune piece is made by hand, so small variations in weave, colour, and finish are natural: they're the mark of something crafted, not manufactured, and no two are exactly alike. On-screen colours can also shift slightly from screen to screen. Our pieces are decorative and are not food safe.

Prices & payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). We don't currently charge HST, so the price you see is the price you pay, with shipping added at checkout. This will change if we register for HST in the future. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.

Orders

When you place an order you'll receive a confirmation by email. Because our stock is small and made by hand, we may occasionally need to cancel or refuse an order, for example if a piece has sold out. If that happens, we'll let you know and refund you in full.

Shipping & returns

How we ship, and how returns and refunds work, are set out in our Shipping policy and our Returns & Refund policy, which form part of these terms.

Our brand & content

The Arlune name, logo, photography, and website content belong to Arlune. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written permission.

Our responsibility

We pour real care into every piece and every order. To the extent the law allows, Arlune isn't liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from the use of our pieces or our site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our site is the one that applies to your order.
